3/22 - Shot a benefit version of Angry Young Teenage Girl Gang at the Barnsdall Theater with actress Jill Clayburgh narrating. Great show directed and conceived by Mark Knowles will be returning to the Lucille Lortel theater in NYC late this year or early 2006 for a 9 week run. Video to be posted here soon. 3/16-17 - Vagina Monologues with Penny Marshall directing at the Wilshire-Ebell. So this is what it's like doing live theater in LA? God help us! A lot of great performers made the show, a benefit for victims of violence against women. Standouts were Teri Hatcher, Lori Petty, Marla Gibbs, Loretta Devine. Denise Dowse, Lisa Rinna, Mo'nique and others. Thanks to Tiffany Cade and Sarah Burris for saving my bacon by keeping things straight backstage.
2/13- Just back from Cancun. Did sound for Sheryl Crow at the Aventura Palace. Also concerts by Glen Frey, Joe Walsh and the Beach Boys as part of a large Wells Fargo convention. Thought it odd that we had an outdoor Hawaiian luau party on a Mayan beach. That's kinda like setting up a tiki bar in a mosque in Damascus. 1/30- What's left of me just back from a series of Burlesque shows in Denver for the show we're developing. What one must endure for art. Video to be posted soon. Strictly for the over 18 crowd of course.

1/09- Drying out from Pebble Beach in Carmel. Big event for Cingular wireless. We got slammed by hurricane force winds out on the course. They closed it down for the first time in 85 years. Like being in a scene from "Caddyshack".

12/25/04 Christmas with the Lakers. Doesn't everybody work on xmas? Lotsa turkey, lotsa hype. Let's hope Shaq and Kobe find true love one of these days. 12/16/04 Huge xmas throwdown at the Luxe Hotel in Bel-Air. Most of the cast of the West Wing, Directors Frank Oz and Barry Levinson, actors Maura Tierny and Seth Green among the hundreds of others. A special tribute by the Creative Coalition for the late Christopher Reeve. More free cigars. I see a pattern here. Video to be posted soon. 11/21/04- The big launch of the Nintendo DS gaming unit at Universal Citywalk. A blast up until the time it decided to rain in "it never rains in Southern California". August/04- Two weeks of "Carousel" in Massachusetts. Summer camp for the West Coast production set. In between and after, frolicking on Martha's Vineyard, Harvard U, Maine. Business in Buffalo and Canada for upcoming projects. Why does Niagara fall? July/04- Went to the Emmy party at Spago in Beverly Hills. Watched octogenarian producers with their thirty-something "nieces" pick at the chocolate bar and navigate fondue. Also watched everyone trying to befriend Tony Shaloub. I befriended the guy hand rolling cigars. Interesting business, this showbiz thing.
